D'evolveman: the stupid, fun deck (MSG-adjusted)

I only play stupid, bad decks. I often lose and slither around the 15th rank. When I win, it's super fun. This deck though, is so much fun, even though I'm losing by a million miles. So here goes..

Gist of it is of course to get the biggest, baddest, funnest evolves with combining Nerubian Prophets, Barnes (who often pulls out high cost 1/1s which become higher cost not-1/1s!) Evolve, Master of Evolution and Onyxia. There's also Brann, Madame Goya and The Mistcaller in there: Goya with Brann down swaps 1 dude for 2 from the deck, and The Mistcaller is just amazing either with Brann or just replayed after Madame Goya. Love Malchezaar so stuck him in there despite his deck-ruining tendencies. Idc!

So there's a good deal of cards that evolve into "nice costs" ie. all the 6-cost cards. But The Mistcaller is also suprisingly fun, since many of the minions have nice stats to begin with but with The Mistcaller just become unreasonably threatening for what they cost. Especially a 5/7 Al'akir is the funniest sh*t, and versatile in use (clearing, a burst of damage to the face).

Rest of it is just control and playing the deck according to the set of cards you get. Sometimes you get shitty cards and have to hope the opponent is slow (2 mana tides help a lot with this and the Malchezaar-effect). Sometimes you can just go all out with 2 Nerubian Prophets and Evolve on a stupidly early turn, followed up by Devolve the next turn, getting rid of the opponents dudes' buffs, taunts, etc. 2x Healing Wave keeps one afloat even in difficult places.

Here's the deck:

  • 1x Earth Shock
  • 2x Evolve
  • 1x Devolve
  • 1x Stormforged Axe
  • 1x Brann Bronzebeard
  • 1x Elemental Destruction
  • 1x Feral Spirit
  • 2x Healing Wave
  • 2x Hex
  • 2x Lightning Storm
  • 2x Mana Tide Totem
  • 1x Barnes
  • 2x Master of Evolution
  • 1x Bloodlust
  • 1x Prince Malchezaar
  • 1x Madam Goya
  • 2x Nerubian Prophet
  • 1x The Mistcaller
  • 2x Thing from Below
  • 1x Al'akir the Windlord
  • 1x Ragnaros the Firelord
  • 1x Onyxia

I've been switching around the Bloodlust and the 1-3 cost cards for different takes on what to use for control purposes, while keeping the feel and character of the deck (stupid evolution). Big changes would no doubt result in a much better win rate, but I just want to have fun with Evolve, so I'm mostly looking to fine-tune the control card selection. I'm also way too poor to be spending money on HS so I wouldn't be surprised to be reminded of some kick-ass legendary that would agree with the spirit of the deck.
