I find that the late game relies very heavly on having the right units to deal with what the opponent has. PvZ: Zealot/Archon with a few immortals is a very strong mix of units to make up the base of ...

I'm probably not the most reliable source of information when it comes to macro play, but here's my best attempt.Aside from the usual "probes, pylons, upgrades" spiel, I think expansion timings are very important, especially in LotV. You have to ...

Looking to improve my play. 2-3 days ago I got promoted to plat. Generally I've found out I'm having easier time being on the aggressive end, and try to finish the game within the first 10-12minutes. I had some games ...

I haven't really been paying attention to modern builds, and everything is still being figured out anyway, but here is the general idea afaik.TvP: Bio/liberator. Play defensively/greedily initially, then harass with drops and finish him with a doom drop + ...

Solid. Watch out for Mutalisks from zerg players, as they seem to have gotten hugely buffed.
  • LoTV Builds in reply to What the chicken by BeastlyDayKnight

Ok, Ok. Well LotV is officially out. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a Ravager all-in against Protoss, or a fast Muta cheese-esque build.

Good point, I was thinking that after I submitted this post... current day strategies will be meaningless in LoTV with the complete different style of economy and units. Still waiting on my pre-order beta to get emailed to me, but ...

So lotv is coming out in a month (ish). I would advise you to play the beta until it comes out. Balance might be a tad screwey, but it's fun and balance isn't too important anyway (unless you're super concerned ...

Hi, I've taken a pretty long break from SC (season 4 2014 platinum). Was hoping someone could help me out in just hitting the ground running with some basic strategies that are popular in today's 1v1 with zerg.

  • this is how would do it in reply to Ya I guess i could have been more aggressive early on by Qwoto

    #
The point is your composition is probably ok, but you let the mech become too strong. Against mech you need to constantly put pressure on, especially deny gas wherever possible to slow him down and keep the gas heavy unit ...

For pvz, french (bagguette) style is very popular right now http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/sc2-strategy/481008-french-pvz-guide For pvt I'm not really sure, but I think something like blink into robo is good. You need to make sure you have detection for the inevitable mine drop.
