Day goes through the process of refining a
straightforward mech build by playing against the computer and noting bumps in
his play. Day reattempts his simple mech build, making adjustments based on
his noted errors.
Q&A With Day
-How do your recognize a bump in your gameplay?
-When refining builds, do you ever consider leaving some breathing room on timing and resources so you are able to deal with harassment from your opponent?
-Where do you get your inspiration for a specific build?
-When I'm laddering I find myself so on edge that a lot of time I'd much rather play in-house customs instead with other players. What do you feel is better for improving quickly: ladder or custom games?
