Goat Simulator - Really????
Okay, so yeah, Goat Simulator launched on April 1st. One couldn't honestly expect much, and the game does come with the following disclaimer:
Dear Esther, Path of Exile :D
Path of Exile is free super technical RPG/hack and slash. ( http://www.pathofexile.com/ , http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree , http://www.pathofexile.com/skills )Dear Esther is a fairly short interactive story/game and fairly cheap on steam. ( http://dear-esther.com/ )
I'm unsure it's already been suggested, but Creeper World 3 is one of the most amazing indie games I've ever played. It's full of strategy & science fiction, quite inline with other games played here ;D
I think this is right up your alley Day9 man, Cool music and free form game play. It's currently in demo mode , but its a good deal of fun even then. Maybe not something you would play for hours ...
Double Fine's Amnesia Fortnight Prototypes
This was the last post in the old thread, so I figured it could bear repeating here so it doesn't get lost.Double Fine has a game jam internally where they during two weeks forget whatever project they are on and ...
You gotta play Goat Sim, man. Dude. Seriously.Dude.Hey. Dude. Seriously.Listen. Goat Simulator, man.Seriously
I think prison architect will be a great game to watch Sean play, easy to play and read chat at same time. This game also has a simple short tutorial and can be paused for Sean's breaks (£20 on steam ...
It's basically a city-builder, like Sim City.. Now, that initially sounds kind of lame, but it's actually a really entertaining game! You play a dictator on a caribbean island, and have absolute power over everything that goes on your island. ...
Is a short problem solving game that has beautiful hand made elements, a beautiful sound track, and interesting puzzles. I think you would really enjoy it.
Weird little indie deck builder/city planner, with great art and full voice acting. Hasn't seen enough attention. Has a short campaign with a ridiculous difficulty curve, and a score attack type arcade thingy.
