Wonky Matchups

Hey there,

I'm a Bronze player on the EU server. I'm rank 2 in my divison but I still lose a fair amount of games so I expect to stay in Bronze for a little while longer.

Lately though I have had problems with wonky matchups. First I got matched against a Platinum (about 5 days ago) and today after already losing 2 games I got matched against a fricken Diamond. XD

Is this normal? I wouldn't think so but I only have been playing for 5 weeks so I don't know if the system sometimes does this.
