Fellow DayKnights, I launched a Kickstarter campaign :)

  (Edited: )

EDIT#2 (23rd of October 2015): I started a new Campaign!

I'm running a Kickstarter campaign for an anthology project until the end of November . The money raised will be used to create and publish a science fiction and fantasy short story anthology. There will be a mixture of stories by invited indie authors and stories submitted during an open call.

Here is the link to the campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kaiherbertz/arcane-arts-sfandf-themed-anthology

If you want to help out, please spread the word, pledge any amount on the campaign page, and / or submit a story to the open call.

Thanks in advance and all the best,

EDIT: The Campaign is over, but I'm bumping this thread to provide my list of the 10 Kickstarter Dos. It's basically what I've learned from this campaign.

Dear all,

as of today, Kickstarter officially allows German based projects. Since I am putting the finishing touches on my fantasy novel "Age of Torridan", I figured this would be a great opportunity for me to participate in the launch. If you have a moment, please check out my project here:

Age of Torridan (needs a new cover)

As one of the DayKnights pointed out, it isn't polite to come to someone else's house and start advertising, so I sent an e-mail to the Day[9] team and to Sean beforehand to see if it would be all right for me to post this. As you all can imagine, Sean is very supportive regarding creative projects, so he gave me the green light to post :)
Thanks again for that!

Since Kickstarter campaigns can only succeed, if people are talking about them, I would greatly appreciate if you guys (and girls!) could spread this around, if you like the campaign.

As part of the campaign, I plan to read chapters of my book and will post them here, as they become available.

Thanks in advance and all the best,
