There's a line

The whole point is on how over protective a parent is over their child, an adult can be trusted to make a reasonable decision but as a child you don't have a whole lot of choice whether you want to be vaccinated. I think in some cases it's needless and people are just being irrational and getting flu jabs at the smallest sign of someone sneezing. I do think there is a big difference between a flu jab and an MMR vaccine for example. The whole MMR thing is far too controversial a topic but I believe that it's about how you weigh up risks in your own mind, most of the time facts don't change previously created opinions because we're stubborn.
