Amazing open Source Streaming Software

Hi guys foxCode here, I have been an amateur caster for about 6 months now, and have naturally used alot of different streaming software, primarily XSplit and flash live media encoder.

Both XSplit and FMLE require you to set processor affinity in order to work correctly, otherwise they eat all the cpu in the world. Streaming takes a powerful CPU but recently I learned about an open source project
http://obsproject.com/index
and I have to say it is the simplest, and most efficient streaming software I have ever found

I was recording with the following settings, without setting processor affinity
1800Kb/s MaxBitrate
1800 Kbit 1800 BufferSize
AudioEncoding bit rate 192 AAC
Base res 1920 x 1080
Resolution downscalse 1280*720
25 fps

My specs:
i7 @4.2GHz
16GB DDR3 1600MHZ ram
7950 HD 3GB Radeon

Overall the System was using 5GB of ram and about 60% CPU whilst recording a 1v1 late game PvZ. Not 1 frame was dropped.

So if you are looking for free easy to use software, give it a try!

This post was kind of inspired by this being an open source project. Being a programmer myself I know how much of a pain making this will have been, so this is a huge shout out, you guys have done an amazing job, and I hope people here will see this post and give your software a try.
