I recently discovered Day's awesome posts talking about how Artillery's Atlas is coming along, and it got me really excited. More and more it is looking like one of my favorite games of all time, Dawn of War II. It was a game that got great reviews, but died out in popularity quite quickly.
Inspired by Day's design blogs, I have written one of my own with my thoughts on RTS game design, what Dawn of War II did well and where it failed, and what lessons could be carried forward to Atlas.
