Quasarprintf's stream

About me

Hello! I don't know how many of you know me, but if you do it's probably for my ongoing efforts to get esports into high schools, for winning the latest PD lagtv tournament, for my youtube channel QuasarGamers, or because I'm a relatively frequent poster on these forums.

I have decided to begin streaming on Saturdays from 11:30-1:30 P.D.T.  http://www.thetimezoneconverter.com/. My first stream will be tomorrow (November 2nd, 2013), barring any technical failures. Assuming the same thing, my stream should be in HD.

What I will be streaming

I will be streaming something of which I am sure you are familiar with the basic concept. I will be streaming myself cannon rushing on the Starcraft HotS ladder - Gaulzi-style. If you've never heard of Gaulzi, then you need to go check out the funday monday about cannons. But if you don't feel like doing that, just be assured that my pylons and cannons are built well within vision range of my opponents.

I am currently in platinum league, but I anticipate a promotion soon, because I have maintained a 70% win rate over a decent number of games while being matched against diamond players somewhat frequently diamond league master league. My goal is to get to GM by cannon rushing and truly become the next Gaulzi.

I do my best to avoid angering my opponents, although by virtue of cheesing that isn't always possible.

You can find my stream here

PS: I know that people, as a general rule, don't like people who cheese, but please don't hate on me here; I'm sure as dayknights you aren't the type to do so, and hence this is probably unnecessary, but if you do get the urge to post a negative response to this, just remember that all it will do is bump this thread.

New, second strategy

I also now stream mass reaper as terran. To be clear, this is mass reaper, not proxy reaper or reaper rush. My build order does get a lot of reapers out early and normally does damage, but it is definitely not an all-in, and I keep building reapers the entire game (barring my opponent getting air). I do this unranked, but my mmr seems to be mid-diamond with it. I beat platinum players probably 90% of the time, and have a pretty good win rate against diamond players. The skill ceiling for this playstyle is enormous, so I anticipate steady improvement until eventually I will be doing this in masters alongside cannons. When that happens, I'll just need to find something to do as zerg and then I can switch to random...
