Description
I want to use Beat Saber and other VR high intensity games to workout regularly for 30 days, taking short breaks as needed. I’ll track the intensity and duration of the workout through Yur.fit and Google Fit and post my results. Will also log milestones such as completing difficult songs or placing in the leaderboard of my region.
Recent Updates
Second week was a bit of a downer. Was having a bunch of sleeping issues and so didn’t feel like I had the energy to work out. I did start out strong though, with one day at the start which was fantastic because I hit Yur’s ‘orange bar’ which is 1,000 kals.
I’m gonna call this week a wash and try to pick it up again this week.

Beat Saber status: AHHHHH!
Here is first week’s progress. If you’re wondering where the 25th is, I took that day off. Technically I should have taken one more day off and I’ll be more mindful of that in the future because I don’t want to overdo it. But one of the days was kind of a lower impact day so that’s alright.
I’m using Yur.fit to track my calories and heart rate while playing any VR game. But it also has graphs that tell you when you’re spiking, to help figure out which songs are hardest for you and when you put the most effort in.
Today I was kinda tired and even though I put in more calories than normal it was definitely mostly on Until You Fall, which is a rogue-like slasher game which had me flailing about in earnest. But I also wrenched my left shoulder a bit so I have to be more careful.
