  • Bikes in reply to Thanks! by renn

Hey Nicole, it's great to see you here. Welcome! I'm nursing a dodgy knee and have switched from running to pedalling on a recumbent bike for a while. It's a great way to get cardio without the impact damage.

  • Really? in reply to No! by AnjanasKat

That's fascinating, Kat! Then again you're quite right, confidence is key. The only cycling I do is on my old recumbent bike. Surely it's much nicer to get out and enjoy fresh air, etc. *thumbs up*
  • We'll give you a tourist visa, dude. in reply to Not sure if men are allowed by maksymilian.szyc

Getting rest is super important. As this article says, "The body repairs and strengthens itself in the time between workouts, and continuous training can actually weaken the strongest athletes."
  • Snow shoes? in reply to Thanks + plan details by AnjanasKat

Do you wear special shoes to run on snow/ice? I thankfully don't have that problem in cold months. Cycling is a such great way to get around and a workout at the same time. Good for you!
