4sdddddddddd, 4szzzzzzzzz is all I do all game. I find I have more apm when I play as zerg vs the other races, just because there is so many more actions per thought.
  • Maybe I missed something? in reply to I continued his Invalid comparison. by Chokladalover

I don't see the part where he says banelings are better. He says widow mines act in similar role to baneling mines, then talked about a few of the differences, like that banelings are much cheaper, and nonautomated (more accurately ...
  • Not valid comparison in reply to And... by Chokladalover

Not sure about the logic of your comparison. I mean, Widow Mines are 4x supply and much more cost as well, so I would hope they do more damage. Their splash is actually less, but you also have to factor ...
  • Using air harass against widow mines in reply to Day[9] Daily #511 - QXC using mines in HotS! by Day9

    #
Here are my thoughts about using air harass against a widow mining player. (Note non-harass air shouldn't be very different from your normal ground operations)
  • I take it back in reply to Blizzard did something right?! :P by ntucker

After watching the daily, widow mines seem a lot less powerful than I thought it would be. QXC kind of uses widow mines are more micro intensive and risky oracle. Though I still think it should be moved to armory ...
  • Interesting point in reply to Widow Mines vs Banelings by Merkvah

    #
Comparing to baneling mines is a good idea to look at symmetry. Though, since widow mines don't suicide, the difference is banelings do more upfront damage, while mines have potential for more damage over a long time.

"OK, so I don't think this is necessary to make people be scared of cloaked (or burrowed) units, I don't really think a Zerg should be forced to rush a Lair to be able to detect, of course you can ...
  • Detection? in reply to Thank you! I guess! by Chokladalover

    #
I think the point of the last change is to make people actually bother to get detection, instead of just ignoring them because they did nothing. You can also sac cheap units if you're too lazy for that because they ...
  • Software Assistance in reply to Day[9] Daily #509 - Newbie Tuesday: Optimizing Builds Week 1 by Day9

I can't help but think of build order optimizers like Evolution Chamber, and how software can make this process easier. But more, are there other parts of this process that can be made easier with software?

(aka role of government), not some broad philosophical term that applies to almost everything. Such general terminology is almost not useful in distinguishing ideas. However, I don't see how any form of Libertarianism could accept something that violations the non-aggression ...
  • Volunterism in reply to Re: Rand by Vaftrudner

I don't know much about Rand (yes, I've heard of her, but haven't read anything), but the attributes you describe about Sean sound more like the Libertarian philosophy of volunteerism. Socialism is about government owned production and force, not being ...

Strange, I thought I had looked that up after I was surprised at how badly my hellions were doing against them. I think I just wasn't used to the really high hp. (Just started HotS to see for myself)
  • Swarm hosts locusts are not light in reply to Mech? Low DPS? by CutMESilly

So no, hellions are quite bad against their 65 HP. Edit: I am wrong. Guess I'm too used to people making stuff up about HotS who didn't play that I forgot to question myself.
