Description
My study field is Education. I’m doing great (I’m about to finish my master’s, yay!), but I think I need to read more about what is going on in the latest research in this field. Therefore, I want to develop the habit of reading more scientific papers. On this 30 day project, I’ll start slow, by reading at least 2 papers per week.
Recent Updates
As stated previously, I wasn’t able to finish reading the papers, but, on the last 2 weeks, I have managed to finish a book I was reading, which is a collection of texts by Marx, Engels and Lenin. So, not papers, officially, but at least I didn’t stop reading. I’ll consider this project a victory! :)
I’ll have to do some last-time changes on this project. I’m way too busy with other projects (like finishing my Master’s!), and I don’t have enough time to read more papers at the moment, with the attention they deserve. However, I’m still focused on reading a book about my field, so I’ll focus this last week on finishing that book.
I end up procrastinating a bit, since I have other personal projects to accomplish (like the presentation of my master’s dissertation - yay! :D ), but today I read another paper, finishing Week One. It was a short one, but that doesn’t diminishes it’s importance: It is a synthesis of important ideas that should be present in school in our era, considering the advent of digital technologies. =)
My objective was to start today, and so I did! I’ve just finished reading a paper on Blended Learning! :) I’ve read it in PDF, and I used the tools on the program to take some notes and highlight important parts and concepts. I think this will work for the other ones too.

Paper about Blended Learning
Paper about general competences regarding technologies and education
Week 2 Goal
Read at least 2 papers:
Read one paper about digital technologies and the social changes related to them (including how the production and use of these technologies are related to capitalism and its way of producing and obtaining profit).
Week 3 Goal
Read at least 2 papers:
End up not working on my project, because I was busy with my master’s. At least I defended my dissertation successfully! Yay! So that’s a good excuse. :P
Week 4 Goal
Read at least 2 papers:
