Alright, I’m officially calling this one a half-success/bust. The problem with this project was that I went cold turkey, without a good back-up plan.
Snacks are a part of my self-reward strategy. It ain’t the best, but it works to keep me motivated. It’s also been an integral part of my “During D&D” routine of fizzy water and a snack of some sort.
I will be repeating this project, but rather than “No Snacks”, I will be looking for a replacement snack. That should be a better idea than just quitting all snacks.
Still: It was a good run for about 20 days before I started really “desiring” snacks back into my routine so badly that I couldn’t really stop myself anymore.
This is still the harder of the two projects. It’s incredibly hard to not think about snacks, especially during D&D sessions, which is the primary time I would usually eat snacks >
Consciously broke my No Snacks rule yesterday. A lot of things happened but as of today I’m hopping back into it.
