I just accepted a brand new job in a city about 100 miles away. I’m going to track the move here, from start to finish! Everything from Packing to moving in!
Recent Updates
Alright! I took pictures of the TV room before and after I cleaned last night. I’ll probably add them another day, when it’s all cleaned up finally. But I’m going to try to do before and afters every time I clean.
I got through all my books, and gosh do I not read (maybe a new DK30 idea…) and I sorted out all the ones I want to keep, and all the ones I wanted to give away. Turns out I had the entire Game of Thrones series. Weird.
I also packed up and threw away some old games. I decided on a box size for the games, and only kept as many as could fit in the box. It was difficult letting some old games go. But it had to be done!
I also packed up some sentimental items. Just stuff from my childhood, and some records that I’ve purchased over the years.
All of this stuff is going to my parents house this weekend, hopefully!
2019/06/06:
I have a lot of books I will never read, gathered over Christmas’ from years past. My goal tonight is to go through those and get rid of the ones that don’t mean anything to me.

Week 1 Goal
Take pictures as my apartment is right now.
Identify issues that I need to bring up with landlord (I already know a few…)
Finish packing up (and throwing out) TV room items (this was started before this DK30 was made, pictures will reflect this.)
Embrace minimalism… More than I do now. Throw away a ton of stuff I don’t need/use.
