I’ve failed the challenge previously, so let’s do it proper this time. I internalized various excuses, like not having enough money (got a better paying job now), not having enough time (there is empty space to fill even during the work and studies), not having any energy (a sweet lie) or the whole process of going to thy gym not being convenient enough (closest one is 150m walk). The goal is to create a habit of going to the gym. I will also track my max benchpress, squat and deadlift on the first and last day of working out during the challenge just for fun.

Recent Updates

An important update. I have been told to lay off lifting weights by my eye doctor as I am on a waiting list for a LASIK to get my eyesight fixed. This will last 3 months and I am not allowed to increase intra-ocular pressure in that time period.

Main reason of the doctor is a past injury of my left eye and they worry that the surgery could be unsuccessful or even potentially a major risk increase in potential tear of the back of my eye.

Estimated Timeframe

Jan 28th - Feb 27th

Week 1 Goal

Go to gym at least 2 times and maybe a bodyweight workout at home. Measure benchpress, squat and deadlift max.

Week 2 Goal

Go to gym at least 2 times and maybe a bodyweight workout at home.

Week 3 Goal

Go to gym 3 times a week.

Week 4 Goal

Go to gym 3 times a week. Measure benchpress, squat and deadlift max.
