I’ve been less than fit for most of my life, but never to the point where I thought I needed to do anything about it. Things changed last week, when a girl I like told me she’d go out with me once I graduated and was home full time, and she’s super into running, so if I can keep up with her when I get back, even a little bit, that would make me so so happy. I’ve already got shoes and I don’t mind running in the frigid weather of my town, so hopefully I can keep it up. I’m coming from zero here, so if I only run 4-5 times in the next month as opposed to 8-10, that’s fine too. It’s a process.

So – Today is the last day, and I just got back from my seventh run in the last 30 days! My total distance is just under 10 miles, and I’m super proud of myself for it! Especially considering that before this month, the most I had ever done is zero.

Looking forward to building more good habits in the next one :)

I’ve gone running three times in the last two weeks! An improvement over zero, so I am pleased.

Jan 28th - Feb 27th

Week 1 Goal

Run 8-10 times in the next month

4-5 is OK too, frankly I’ll be pleased with more than twice.
