Description

Make an Android app that allows users to input Regular Expressions to select desired snippets of text, with the goal of completing the task in as few characters as possible.

set up UI allowing users to input strings of text
have UI displaying the text that needs to be parsed
Include an element that can switch between sets of text to display
Include a working “submit” button that applies the text input as RegEx against the display text
Include UI elements that display what text has been selected and if that was desirable
track successful RegEx submissions
work on UI to make it more user-friendly
set up a menu extension (in no particular order):

in-app descriptions for use of special characters
tutorial for special characters/gameplay
set up leaderboard for puzzles to display users who used the fewest characters
