Exercise, Dog Walking, and Sleep

Eric Burkhart Health, Fitness, Food DK30 Quarantine 2020 2 4

Description

I was originally planning a more work oriented task, but I’ve had too much work recently and need to focus on myself. Since my gym is closed, my normal fitness routine has been disrupted so I’ll be building new fitness habits. Also my bed time has been drifting forward and I need to fix that.

  • Weight training 2 times per week
  • Running 4 times per week
  • Walking the dog 5 times per week
  • Moving my bed time back from 1:30am to 11pm

Recent Updates

  • Weight training 12/30 days
  • Running: 22/30 days
  • Dog Walking 25/30 days
  • Bed time 12am

Overall this was very successful. I hit a wall for moving up my bed time at 12am, so going forward I’m going to work on some habits that will help me succeed at that, such as:

  • Waking up on time
  • Eating dinner earlier
  • Cutting out late snacks
  • Avoiding intense games late at night
  • Getting more sunlight in the morning and early afternoon

  • Kept up with the weight training and added some more exercises.
  • Ran 4 times including one 5k
  • Walked the dog 6/7 days.
  • Averaged 12:30am bed time but managed to get one day before midnight.

Began some light weight training last week, succeeded on running and dog walking after missing the first couple of days. Bed time moved back to 1am so I need to catch up a bit.
