Description

I’d like to get a recipe editor/database up and running. I would be able to input the assorted recipes I have laying around into a standard format and be able to pull them back up in a reader sometime later.

Closing this out. I managed to get some work done and cracked a textbook but couldn’t focus enough energy into it. Will want to revisit my sketched out design and keep picking at the textbook in the meantime to make starting back up easier next time.

Estimated Timeframe

Apr 14th - May 12th

Week 1 Goal

I’d like to work out the basic layout in more detail and spend some hours re-learning some C# which is what I’m planning on using for the project. LINQ should be very useful but I completely forget how it works.

Week 2 Goal

Continue to do some learning and get basic file I/O interactions in place.

Week 3 Goal

Work on file structure/organization and recipe layout to improve usability.

Week 4 Goal

Continue to polish is everything has gone well, maybe even look into some design elements if all has gone well. Otherwise use this week as slush to finish up what’s left from the first three weeks.
