Work on my Ludam Dare game project "Dr. Take Your Pills" for 2-6 hours a week.

Description

I starting my first video during this Ludam Dare 46 this month (theme was Keep It Alive). I quickly found that 48 hour game jam would have lead to me being burned out for my day job (as a Salesforce dev). Instead, I want to spend 2-6 hour working on the game over the next month. I’d also like to emphasise on fighting against spagetti code, cough cough… unlike Day9’s Factorio run ;). Currently the game is a console based came written in C# using Window.WriteLine a ton. Eventually I’d like to move over to using Unity to be the GUI.

I “completed” my game from LD 46. It’s not a terribly fun game, but I learned a ton ( https://arbwalk.org/games/) I’ve also began working on my next big project. I was actually able to work on my games alot more than I had planned. I’ve found myself day dreaming about potential game design elements. Cheers!

Worked on my game for 2.5 hrs today. Add in the ability to script the vital changes in my game. I also added in functionality to set the cards which the player can pick from during the first few turns of the game.
