Learning to draw

I suck at drawing, but I would like picture references for a story I am making. If possible I would like to turn my story into a comic or manga, but I currently cannot draw anywhere near good enough to remotely draw something that I would like. So, I am going to try to spend atleast 1 hour a day drawing. Hopefully this will get me to get up earlier in the morning as well, as the best time for me to spend an hour drawing would ideally be before work in the morning.
