Running, Push-ups, and Healthy Eating

Tytee Health, Fitness, Food DK30 Quarantine 2020 4 4

Description

I want to work to improve consistency with behaving in a healthy way in response to stress weight that I gained in my first year of law school and throughout Covid times. I am hoping to run a total of 100km this month, cut out binge eating completely, and to do 100 pushups 5 days/week!

I went for a slow, but successful, 5km run! It was painful and difficult, but I’m really happy that I got out there and went for that run today. Great start!

Not a run today, but I went on a 10km hike and walked over 10,000 steps! Not the worst start to this new hobby :)

I failed this one miserably last time, but I’m going to give this a try alongside my creative project!

Estimated Timeframe

Oct 17th - Nov 21st

Week 1 Goal

First time’s the hardest! To reach the goal of running 100km total, I need to run 25km this week. I will need to do 10 pushups every hour or so to hit my 100 pushup goal on 5 separate days. I have bought some healthy snacks to replace my binge eating with.

Week 2 Goal

Same as week 1! Consistency will be key and adjusting for any serious wear-and-tear on my body.

Week 3 Goal

Check and see if increasing my run distance is feasible for a single run. If I have a set of weights, working in some weight lifting to my exercise routine.

Week 4 Goal

Continue on with the habits I have built and finishing strong to meet my 100km goal!
