Description

After somehow kickstarting/reviving a small speedrunning community, it’s time to learn another route. One of the other runners has kindly routed a new category and I’m going to learn it and run it. Goal here is to complete a run and submit it for verification by Nov. 15th.

Things are going well. I had started making notes after asking the other runner if they had any, and lo-and-behold they did. SO, now I have notes for the entire run and am formatting them to my use as I go. Got in a couple of good practice segments and the first 15 minutes is looking ok. There is way more shopping and people involved than in BG1 so the memory is getting a workout with these early attempts. Otherwise I am on track to at least have the run mostly memorized, with some practice I should be able to put up a competitive time. (all 1 other time that exists right now) I still have to make it further, but for the one major sticking point I have I do have a save created so practice later will be easy. Hooray for week 1 goal being kinda met in spirit.

Read through the notes and make save files before the sticky points. Update other weeks with specific things to work on.
