Build a sitting bench

Description

Following an online woodworking class, I just want to commit to starting and finishing a sitting bench before the end of the 30 days. Project will start on Oct 15th and end most likely by November 13th. Should be plenty enough time to build this project.

Week 3: skipped

Week 4: sanding and finishing (taint and varnish)… boy was that smelly. Anyhow I made it, admittedly with very few updates, but I’m happy of the result. I think it looks great! I made lots of little mistakes but nothing people will notice unless they look at it very closely. Most importantly it doesn’t wobble and the main outside surfaces look great.

Week 1: built legs

Week 2 (would be today): glued the layers in between

Almost done with assembly, had to glue it in my house since my shed is too cold for glue to properly curate. Here it is clamped for the night:
