Description
Currently I am top 500 in diabotical. I want to get even better. Top 100 is my current end goal, although improving that fast in 30 days may be exceptionally difficult with my other obligations.
Recent Updates
Week 2 is similar to the first. I was really focusing on not tilting these past few days, because that kills my consistency. In games I was losing I was cheering on my opponent for awesome shots because I often look only at my mistakes, rather than recognizing their successes. That mental error is really bad because my opponent is making the same mistakes, I just beat myself up for it.
Today was a great day. I managed to peak in the leaderboards Architect (top 200) and I’m feeling good. My opponent was also an Architect at the time, although I knocked him down to Vindicator with my win.
Did really well for the start of week 1. Sunday was rough however, with a netcode change that made playing in my region very difficult. I took Sunday off because of it, reviewing games instead. Monday/Tuesday I was sick so I couldn’t do my mechanics practice to stay in shape
There will be a slight change to my weekly plans, as a team tournament is coming up. Rather than dueling most days, I will instead be focusing on the 3v3 circuit. My goal is to get short practices in when I can for duel and when the team isn’t on, and work on mechanics that are transferable between all the modes.
Today our team identified some major weaknesses that have us playing below our capabilities in certain modes and our goal is to practice those heavily. My personal focus will be minimizing deaths and punishing poor positioning, as those are some of the worst mistakes I see. To accomplish that, I will work to coordinate attacks with the team rather than playing solo. I often play team modes like they’re 1v1 and get punished heavily in a 1v2 or 1v3 fight.
