Main Quest:

My relationship ended nearly a year ago and I’m still growing and learning from it. I’d like to continue being intentional about transforming. This project aims to accompany my work in a course I’m taking with Oren Jay Sofer called Cultivating Authentic Communication and make progress on a letter I’m writing to A.

Main Quest Progression:

As of today I have completed Sessions 1 and 2 of Oren’s Authentic Communication Course, which started last Sunday.

Estimated Timeframe

Jan 31st - Mar 7th

Week 1 Goal

Progression Activities:

  1. Freewrite/journal: topics related to the course sessions, the readings, and anything I learn about my emotions, needs and changes in perspective.
  2. Read: Oren’s reflections, the course material, Say What You Mean,
  3. Converse: practice engaging others with presence, speaking from a place of authenticity (emotions/needs), and incorporating the principles of Nonviolent Communication into my speech.
  4. Meditate: each week’s guided meditations, additional meditations on the Ten Percent App
  5. Add to the letter

Side Quests:

  1. Continue EMDR Therapy
  2. Read from The Body Keeps The Score and Lost Connections
