Poker Solver Training

Description
For my 30-day project I plan to leverage my newly acquired Poker solver software such as PioSolver, GTO+, and the Upswing Poker Lab and develop a study methodology so that I can understand how to act in any scenario. The first two weeks will be focused on studying and internalizing pre-flop ranges from every position, so that I do not need to look at charts anymore . I will also research and try to develop a study methodology for the more complex post-flop scenarios that I run in my poker solver. The last two weeks will be much more focused on setting up and using my poker solver to solve some of the most common postflop scenarios such as: BTN vs BB, EP vs LP, SB vs BB among others at various stack depths. There are innumerable variables to control for when using solvers, so I anticipate that one of my biggest challenges will be narrowing the scope of my inquiries into something that is achievable.
Recent Updates
The first step for my Week 1 goal will be to actually create the flash cards.
There are two “game types” that I would like to focus on: Cash Games and Tournament Games. In tournaments the range of hands that are typically played is wider than that of Cash games. The primary reason for this difference is the number of chips in big blinds (BB) that you typically have. In a cash game I always buy in for a minimum of 100BB. Since my computer does not have the RAM to accurately simulate game theory optimal(GTO) pre-flop ranges that I can create right now (I do have 128GB of RAM ordered, however it will not arrive until the middle of March), I will be using pre-constructed ranges from the Upswing Poker Lab to build my first two sets of flash cards.
So for Cash Games and Tournament Games (MTT’s) I will be making flash cards for the following game tree options; “Raise First In” (RFI) from each position, “Vs RFI” from every position, and “RFI vs 3-bet” against every position and from each position. This in and of itself is an undertaking. For “RFI” there are 9 ranges, however for “Vs RFI” and “RFI vs 3-bet” there are 36 scenarios each. This could probably be simplified by grouping various positions into larger categories, but for now I would like to test the limits of my rote-memorization technique and see if I can accurately recall the minute variations between a “LJ RFI vs CO 3-bet” and a “HJ RFI vs CO 3-bet” effortlessly.
Thankfully, I had already started mapping the ranges to a folder on my computer for MTT’s, however I have barely started on the suggested cash ranges. For now I am going to finish off documenting the various MTT ranges and then convert them into Anki Flashcards and I will re-evaluate if I have enough time to also add the cash ranges.

Week 1 Goal
Week 1 (Charts-Be-Gone)
Well here we go. I have decided that throughout this DK30 I am going to set aside some time every Sunday night to plan out the following week’s goal. My primary objective for this week is to overcome my reliance on pre-flop charts for cash games. To do this I am going to break out one of my favorite study tools from college. FLASH CARDS! Specifically I will be using “AnkiDroid Flashcards” as it incredibly useful for rote-memorization tasks. I think this techinique will be essential for my task as I do not want to continue to waste valuable time at the poker table (virtual or otherwise) contemplating which hands should be in pre-flop raise, call, or folding ranges.
The Chart above is my key to success for this specific task. I plan to run though these flashcard throughout my DK30 with the ultimate goal of 100% accuracy. If that is not achievable in 30 days then I will keep on going until I hit that perfect mark.
