Welp I got the go ahead from the doctor today, that I can start doing light exercise \o/ So my plan from tomorrow is to start doing 3 x 10 minutes of walking on my treadmill, the road to nowhere. 30 mins should be enough per day for health raisins, can’t really do more due to meralgia paraesthetica (which means my leg starts to go numb after 10 mins)

Week 4 - Welp 5 days a week 3x10mins so half an hour. This is a lot better than I was doing 4 weeks ago, this one was a success and I’m going to be carrying it on too :)

Week 3 - 3x10 mins 5 days a week this week. No problems. I’ll probably stick to this pattern of 5 on and 2 off, but occasionally perhaps do 6 or 7 days if the mood strikes, but a min of 5.

Weekly update guess this is end of week 2ish? Anyways did a full week, no days off, 10 mins x 3 everyday at 2.3km/h, The need for speed, last week was 2.1km/h. Anyways hopefully I’ll keep this up since it’s quite nice to have a mini-break from sitting staring at a monitor all day long. (Yeah those lizards are suss, gotta keep an eye on them, well let’s hope next week I don’t make such a bad dad joke)

Day 9ish. I’ve managed to do this almost everyday for a week, I skipped sunday the first week, then this week I skipped the weekend, so I can manage it ok, only once, I had to stop halfway through due to my leg going. It’s normally about 11 mins before my leg starts to go, so for now doing about 1km a day over the full 30 mins. So from now on, 3x10mins per weekday, weekends free \o/

1st Day, Did 20 mins in bouts of 9 mins and 11 mins, at 11 mins my leg went so had to stop. Will hopefully manage a full day tomorrow.

Jul 17th - Aug 14th

Week 1 Goal

Experi-mental Stage - Time to hit the road to nowhere. Do 10 mins of walking, 3x per day each day and see what my leg feels like afterwards.

Week 2 Goal

All going well, 3x walking for 10 mins per day on my treadmill. If I need to reduce or take days off based off last week, do that :)

All going well, 3x walking for 10 mins per day on my treadmill. If I need to reduce or take days off based off last week, do that :)

Week 4 Goal

At this point I expect to look like the most buff person ever, single digit of body fat and lift 2000 pounds with my pinkie finger. /[Pedantic mode] with bonus nerd glasses - actually you can do that! If it’s money and large denomination paper notes, now I just need the UK money \o/ For clarity - I don’t expect any of the above, including the money (^_^)
