Description

It’s now time to work on the last 2 enemies. 1) The slime (anyone who knows solomons key knows the fear of this thing and 2) Hammer - unstoppable normal brick destroyer and complete another 30 levels.

So this week is being weird, so far I’ve replaced some tiles and stuffs by putting into a scriptable object which has broken a lot but improved the look of the game :)

Primarily this week was doing steamworks stuff. Getting my store front ready at a basic level and getting tax stuffs ready, also ordering a title and company logo for the store front.

So I guess most stuff got done for this one, but I got sidetracked by doing other stuff that was needed, store, . I’ll mark this as completed and make one more relevant.

So the timeframe is pretty much out the window as is the stuff on the right, most of it got done, I don’t have a sprite for a slime and won’t actually make one, I want to finish up the big list on this weeks video so I can enter early access on Steam next month which is a lot of work. So the big list of tasks will be shorter next week, if I don’t get bogged down with shaders/particle effects for the water.

Jul 19th - Aug 16th

Week 1 Goal

Slime spawner, get the icon for the slime and make it pulse in time to the release of the next slime. Modes -: Spawn once, spawn on timer. Slime itself - Implement the movement towards the player and through the bricks, test feel from more mountains to see if it can be used to scale and bend the sprite, if not that, try dotween, if not that then do it myself.

Week 2 Goal

Depending on the result of using feel, dotween and therefore progress, get slime to work and kill the player, and then despawn (depspawn as the player could be using a shield, so less chance of jank this way) . Implement the hammer and place both into poolboss to spawn.

Week 3 Goal

Add to the editor options and place into medium levels initially a slower version of the slime until level 30 then that’s the level where the slime commits the crime of being super annoying \o/

Week 4 Goal

Do another 10 easy and 20 normal levels. Making 30 and 30 for each mode. Finish off anything not done in the previous weeks.
