Better prioritize productivity for more meaningful freetime

Description

One thing I’ve done for basically all my life is push deadlines to their limit. While I’m still able to do the required work I do find that this leaves me not utilizing my freetime effectively, since most of the free time is spend on not wanting to commit to actual fun activities. This really has to change, so I have thought of a few things I want to implement into my routine; in the evening I want to write down some of the things that need to be done the next day, with one or two being the absolute priority, on off days I want to keep my phone out of my bedroom and do the priority task before breakfast, in the weekend I want to plan a moment to reflect on how it’s going, preferably also before breakfast.

Oct 19th - Nov 21st

Week 1 Goal

Keep my phone out of my bedroom, write down priorities every evening. I also want to look for some ways to get better at reflecting, so watch 1-2 video’s or read 1-2 articles about introspection/journalling a day.

Week 2 Goal

Keep my phone out of my bedroom, write down priorities every evening. This week I want to slowly include some planned free time, think drawing or exercising. So every evening I’ll include 1-2 free time activities into my to do for the next day

Week 3 Goal

Keep my phone out of my bedroom, write down priorities every evening. This week I want to work on systems and habits that allow me to keep this going after DK30, so I’ll watch/read 1-2 things about habits and systems every day.

Week 4 Goal

Keep my phone out of my bedroom, write down priorities every evening. This week I would love to really set this way of live in stone. I want to see if I can get into contact with an actual expert on this kind of stuff, to see if there is anymore that needs attending. So I’ll look for one for 15 minutes a day and see if I can get into contact with them.
