Description

Since moving into my apartment, my exercise regimen has been limited to walking sessions after work and a long walk on weekends. I would like to increase the diversity of some of my exercise routines to items that I personally enjoy.

Week 2 Update: More progress was made, was able to accomplish my week 1 goal to do a basic routine 3 times. In addition, I was able to get 1 session of swimming done. As a bonus, I even managed to fit in 9 holes of golf, which was originally a goal for Week 4.

Goals for next week: Essentially match my original goal for week 2. Due to shifting work project, I’m not yet confident in fitting in swim sessions before/after work which is where my Week 3 goal had originally fit in. In addition, 1 weight room session was intended for remote work which may be changing. As a stretch goal, the first part of my basic routine, which involves stretching, I may be able to do mornings contingent on progress on the sleep side.

Week 1 Update: Due to hectic work changes, was not able to run routine this week. I have found one I like, will look to add to project after this week. Should also be ready to do a swim routine next weekend.

Oct 29th - Nov 26th

Week 1 Goal

Print a basic “routine” or two using body weight and band work that I can do several times a week. Needs to be easily accessible Perform the routines on 3 days Stretch goal: plan out season pass for lap swim to start in week 2.

Week 2 Goal

Seek out swimming and weight room regimens Perform each once while maintaining routine above.

Week 3 Goal

Increase amount to allow daily exercise Work up to 3 days swimming 2 days weight room Basic routine for mornings - to be paired with sleep improvement in other project

Week 4 Goal

Integrate in a “bonus” activity to be done on Sundays in the future Potential options: 1) Round of golf (9 holes would be sufficient) 2) Rock climbing gym (more a stretch until COVID clears) 3) Hike (check paths at local park)
