Description
I want to play more video Games instead of Youtube(Adam Savage’s Tested will be the only youtube I give myself the okay to watch) and social media and stop letting my Oculus collect dust. Since I am taking a Video Game Engine Architecture class and a VR class I also want to spend some time giving some deep thought to the games and make semi detailed reports each day that focus on Game Development aspects.
Estimated Timeframe
Feb 8th - Mar 8th
Week 1 Goal
Play at least 10 hours of Games during the weekdays, averaging two hours included in this should be simple VR game sessions, some SuperHot or Space Pirate Trainer. Since I have a two week trial of DCS I will Make Time to Fly the F-14 (DCS-VR) backseat position with my flight sim friend. At the end of the week go through Game reports and do a short write up on my thoughts of the weeks games.

Play at least 10 hours of Games during the weekdays, averaging two hours a day included in this should be simple VR game sessions, this week I want to focus on VR games that I have but haven’t really spent any time playing, This includes the bethesda VR ports of Fallout 4 and Skyrim, Star Wars Squadrons, Garden of the Sea. Make time to play StarTrek Bridge Crew(VR) with friends. At the end of the week go through Game reports and do a short write up on my thoughts of the weeks games.
Week 4 Goal
Play at least 10 hours of Games during the weekdays, averaging two hours a day. This week we will continue our effort of VR games we haven’t had a chance to put time into. Make time to play StarTrek Bridge Crew(VR) with friends. Try to find some non traditional VR games to see what variation is out there. At the end of the week go through Game reports and do a short write up on my thoughts of the weeks games. Since this is the last week I want to re read my reports and make a final write up of the month of gaming.
