3D Printing and Mini-Painting for D&D #3
kendragon Craft and Cosplay DK30 Fall 2022 1 1
Description
Mini painting helps with my anxiety, I want to use this project to continue to incorporate more hobby time into my schedule. My first and second DK30 projects were aimed at the same objective. My first painting project was successful because my scope was appropriate for a 3-4 week project, my second project was too large. While I ended up with a lot of amazing miniatures and sceneries I took on way too much hobby work that I felt burnt out at the end and actually stopped painting for a long time afterward. YIKES! The big goal this time is to chip away at a bunch of unpainted minis I have with no direct goal of completing a certain number, but rather just be consistent with small painting sessions throughout the week.
Estimated Timeframe
Oct 10th - Nov 18th
Week 1 Goal
Organize! Aim to go through all miniatures and organize them into storage based on if they’re painted, half-painted, unpainted. Assess all half-painted and unpainted miniatures for quality and NEED. If they were printed in poor quality or if I have no need for them anymore they will get discarded. Organize miniatures into small groups to begin painting. Clean work station at end of week including brushes etc so that everything is ready to go for week 2.
