Retrospective

I have realized that my goals were just so unrealistic with the free time I have available. I haven’t completed any week in full. Started a couple of cards and then scrapped them because they weren’t good enough. Just now I gave up on a card I worked on for the past hour because it was just unsalvageable.

But it’s okay. I’m satisfied with the things I have learned, especially from the failures.

Did I just publish three updates in 1 minute? Yes I did. I liked the previous one so much I decided to do it again, this time with Negate and some flavor text.

I tried my hand at the cartoon style again, because my previous attempts at line art were miserable. Quite happy with this one :D

Welp this one was a failure. I have bought some gold leaf and wanted to experiment a bit, but the symbol turned out to be uneven so I didn’t even finish the card. I will try that one again.

Here’s my favourite one to make myself feel better about that failed Sol Ring.

Completely failed week 2 because I bough rimworld and did nothing but play it for a week. But finally got around to try the “advanced extended border” that I haven’t done before.

For Week 1, instead of the Cat Token, I painted Sean on a crab card. My reference was his face when he saw “Talk to Miniature Ranni” for the first time.
