Description

I’m going to be following a course (Build a Machine Learning Model in Unity C#) which I picked up recently in a humble bundle to start my journey into properly understanding neural networks. In a previous DK30 I gained a good abstract understanding of machine learning and neural networks but now I want to turn it into something tangible by learning to use machine learning within a game engine. I’m not sure if I will have the time for this project but I want to try and see how far I can get regardless. If all goes really well, I might even try to apply what I learned to a game of pong or something of similar complexity.

Day 1: (Oct 19)

Blasted through 15 minutes of videos at the end of the day to ensure I got started but also did at 2x speed to cover much of the topical orientation videos as a quick refresher. Got most of them out of the way but I’m out of brain power now with only two more left before practical work begins. I’ll aim to get those done next time and start the hands on setup of things next time.

Oct 19th - Nov 18th

Week 1 Goal

Given how busy I will be I’m going to keep this really simple and just make sure I’m sitting down with my project 3 times per week for 10 minutes. That should be doable and gets me over the biggest issue of just forgetting or putting it off too long. If I sit down for that amount, it will keep me connected to the project and I’m likely to do more if at all possible.

Week 2 Goal

Same deal. 3 times per week for 10 minutes.

Week 3 Goal

3 times per week for 10 minutes.

Week 4 Goal

3 times per week for 10 minutes.
