The "write a thousand words a day" project

Description
Normally I am opposed to this idea, to log a daily wordcount or to even log a daily workload. But I’m out of practice. I’ve been writing around 1000 words a week, sometimes even less. I can feel my vast Czech vocabulary shrinking faster than my English vocabulary and skills expand and it’s not because I’ve been focusing on bettering my English. It’s because I’ve not been practicing writing to a satisfactory level.
Additionally, only words, that end as parts of the story count towards the goal. Worldbuilding, notes, structure outlines, etc. will not count.
Recent Updates
So I forgot to post an update last week.
05.11.-19.11

Over the time period between updates I’ve failed some days and exceeded some days. Especially 8th to 11th was rough, only about 100 words a day there, not really sure why, all the words just felt wrong, so I was editing stuff written previously. But there were also days when I doubled or tripled the wordcount.
Final word count estimate: 36000 words / 32 days
While I roughly failed to keep up the goal for 8 of those 32 days. I exceeded th estimated words per day on average. And I’ll take that as a victory.

27.10.-04.11.
I’ve decided to make less frequent updates, cause I’ve been mostly writing before sleep and my days are sort of busy, so updates will happen on Saturday (documenting the previous week) from now on!
On that note, I’ve been keeping up around 1000 words except on 28.10. and 29.10. when I wrote nothing (very busy weekend), but wrote around 4000 words on 30.10.
I feel like the pace is at the point, where I could decide to double up or even triple up, but the point of the project is consistent 1000 words a day just to see and feel how that affects my style and how bad and good days affect it. (btw prepare for a massive self-analyzing post-mortem).
24.-26.10.22
Very busy, overall below goal each day at around 700 words per day. there have been protests and things I wanted to attend and didn’t have much energy to write after. I’ll try to do better tomorrow and they day after.
23.10.22
~2000 words today. Felt pretty good to write today, so I got to around 2000 and will edit in bed, so no exact number today.
22.10.22 (writing this the day after because I sort of went to sleep immediately)
985 words today. I’ll say it’s within the acceptable margin to say we dunnit. Mostly all in Czech this time, focusing on dialogue and character interaction.
21.10.22
Didn’t reach the goal, only 526. Weirdly enough I blame today on trying to write completely in English. I struggle a lot with syntax and grammar, so I keep rewriting sentences ad nauseam. It’s a process. But I did write a lot of additional materials (they do not count and I’ll have to repeat that to myself a lot this month).

1057 words today. It feels like casting off heavy rusty chains holding me down. The skills are there in my brain, but it’s difficult to recover it all immediately

1000 words a day, ideally by the end of this week one larger short story, one smaller short story and one flash fic will be finished. Same for all remaining weeks.
