Description
I’m already committed to trying to do a bunch of things longer term than the scope of DK30 so I didn’t want to distract myself from those but it didn’t feel right to ignore DK30. Giving it some thought I realized what might be really great to enhance what I’m already doing and give me some balance is to simply give myself one new experience or thing to enjoy each day. I’ve been in a rut of the same experiences for more than a little while and really wanting to change that so this will be a nice and gentle way of doing that. They can be as simple as trying a new tea flavor to as complicated as trying a new hobby but consistency is the goal and to be deliberate about it.

Nov 14 - Day 1:
I tried Chai tea and also learned from someone that it’s best said as just Chai as basically you are saying “Tea tea”. As someone who almost exclusively drinks decaf green tea when I do I was surprised by it. At first I thought I made it far too weak but I questioned someone who knows and they tried what I made and said that was fine. I think to me the smell is far stronger than the taste so I simply assumed it must be too watery. It was nice regardless though I did understand what I was told about adding a vanilla creamer to make the flavors stand out. That really did make more sense when I tried the change half way through.

Nov 14th - Dec 15th
Week 1 Goal
Just start the habit of deliberately choosing something at least the morning of each day.
Week 2 Goal
Try to plan out more options for the week and make sure I’m being diverse.
Week 3 Goal
Time to watch myself carefully as this is where consistency usually wains.
Week 4 Goal
Maybe finish off with a larger new thing or two. Just keep consistent no matter what.
