Finally Starting to Write

Description
For my 30 Day Project I will be writing more poetry in journal! I have always struggled with having my writing be “perfect” and as such, it led to me not writing as much. I would love to share my writing and stories and am perfectly open to feedback/criticism/thoughts and your opinions!
Estimated Timeframe
May 16th - Jun 16th
Week 1 Goal
I want to just have more poetry in my journal, from transcribing poetry to writing my own poems! This will allow me to get my headspace more involved in the creative space.
Week 2 Goal
For Week 2, I want to write at least 1 poem a day, regardless if I like it or not. The goal is not to be perfect but just to create. The ability to enjoy poetry and to say “here’s a poem a wrote!” is more meaningful for me than people actually liking it.
Week 3 Goal
For Week 3, I can see about going to open mics and presenting some of my writing to the local scene! I love public speaking and know of a local cafe that holds these events!.
Week 4 Goal
For week 4, I want to still continue my writing but reflect on how it has changed, what has worked, what have I changed or maybe switched up? What did I like or didn’t like about this whole process.
